Adult Sabbath School
Luke 24:14 And they talked together of all these things which had happened.
15 And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned,
Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.
Sabbath school classes are the heartbeat of our church community.
Each week we spend time learning from Scripture and from each other.
Our Sabbath school fellowship begins at 9:50. Children's classes begin immediately while adult Sabbath school opens with a short program in the sanctuary which can consist of singing, inspirational thoughts, mission stories, and special features. After the opening program, adults divide into their seperate classes.
Feel free to join either our class in the Social Hall or in the Sanctuary. All are welcome.
Join us this quarter as we study "The Refiner's Fire"
This quarter's study delves into why we, as Christians who have committed our lives to Christ, also experience suffering. We know Christ Himself was no stranger to suffering. This study will show us that pain, suffering and loss, do not mean that God has abandoned us. But rather it will show that God gives us meaning and purpose in these difficult times, and above all, we can trust Him. Discuss these important Bible truths with our group this week!
Next Quarter (January, February, March '08)
"Discipleship" This quarter will look at discipleship as the experience between Jesus and those He called to apprenticeship with Him. Discipleship by Bertram Melbourne will explore the process of becoming a disciple, and what the major characteristics of discipleship are.
